Deborah is honored to have been born into a multigenerational farming family in the Central Valley. Her foundation of hard work and honesty are deeply rooted from her family’s example.

By the age of thirteen, she was drawn to accounting and pursued her degree from California State University, Fresno. She earned her Certified Public Accountant’s license while raising her three daughters with her husband.

She worked in public accounting for over twenty years. Her vast experience helped clients maximize cost savings strategies. Her emphasis was in tax but she also has experience as a trustee and worked on bankruptcy and forensic accounting cases.

She served as the treasurer for several local non-profit organizations.

In the private industry, she has experience as a controller and maintained duties and responsibilities of a chief financial officer. She worked with the operations team to refine operations to improve efficiencies and collaborated with the sales team to increase revenue. She worked closely with management to capitalize the company’s resources.

Her audit experience in public accounting has been valuable when leading the accounting team in the private sector to efficiently produce reports and supporting documents to streamline the audit process.

Proper communication is key to a successful operation and Deborah enjoys helping clients realize their goals.
